hi - new to the forum - hope someone can answer this question - Is it possible (assuming you have the funds to support yourself and werent working illegally) to become a "permanent" tourist by simply leaving the country every three months and returning a few days later with a fresh 3 month tourist visa? how many times could you do this before immigration refused entry?

Hi Tifffer,

Sooner or later Immigration smells a rat. They ask you a few questions at the airport
about your frequent travelling and if you don't satisfy them with your answer they
either put you on the next flight back to where you came from or, if you're lucky,
give you a short-term border visa. This is not something we recommend if you have
other options.

Cheers

Mr Lombard I have some dilemma,

I want to make circular trip London-Sydney-Auckland-London with staying one month in Australia and 2 weeks on NZ. For A. I will apply for 48S visa type.

Is it enough evidence for A. and NZ custom that I will leave country since I have one way ticket or do they treat it with respect showin that I leave the country the opther directio than entering ?

My intentions are honest so I do not want to get visa refusal.
