How Many Points needed for Skilled Visa
Hi All. Can anyone tell me how many points are needed for a skilled visa. I thought it was 110 but have since read 120.

120 for skilled independent
it was 110 but they put it up last yearMartin

Skilled Independent : 120 points
Skilled Sponsored : 110 points
STNI/Skill Matchjing/ENS/RSMS/Skilled Designated Area Sponsored : not points tested
Skilled Independent Regional: 110 points (but a 10 point bonus is available)
Better to ask immigration questions on the immigration forum. And always use http://www.immi.gov.au as your main reference.

JAJ, I thought you needed 70 points for the STNI visa.

It is 120 points.
You get extra points 5 points if you have job in hand before you enter Australia. Must be related to your field of work. Need help in getting a job then email TNComsydney.hotmail.com
Until 2004 it was 115 points.
