how long will i be homeless?
I am moving to sydney to start a job in a couple of months. i've found some good previous posts about where to live, but how long will it take me??
i am thinking of coming out two weeks in advance of my job starting to give me enough time to find a place to live. Does this sound reasonable given the estate agents, paperwork, number of rentals etc??
Cheers.

hi.
well i am going to be working in belrose, so i assume the north beaches is kinda the area i should be looking in. i am happier to be in a more green belt outskirts position rather than being in the centre of the city anyway. would people working in northen beaches area live futher outside of the city? or is commuting as bad as london? in which case i want to live as close as poss to work.
so really i'm wondering if this area is ok for finding places to rent and is 2 weeks reasonable..
cheers

Ack, I know little to nothing about living and commuting on the north shore of Sydney; I'm an inner west/eastern suburbs dude myself.
