Is anyone in a similar situation?, our police checks and medicals were requested at the beginning of July, (after we had lodged our initial application in May 2004) to which we sent them off to Adelaide within a 7 day period. At the beginning of September 2004 our sponsor in Melbourne was asked by Centrelink to provide evidance of his residency, to which he did immediately. Everything has gone quiet and we've not heard a thing since. Is this the norm? looked on austimeline site and most people seem to be getting a request for their bond money within a few weeks. Is anyone else in or had a similar situation?

You will probably hear any day I would think. We sent our meds etc in unrequested and got the bond request in quickly.The time from meds to receiving visa was about 2 months ?
