how early does it go dark

just read a thread abt it going dark early on sunshine coast .. can anyone
tell me if its the same in Perth and is it all year round .. we are looking at perth or sunshine coast .. I know it sounds like a daft question but I would like to know ..

Well, we're in Melbourne, therefore further south. In mid-winter it get dark after at about 5:30. Cuurently, it is getting dark about 6:30. So given your target locations are nearer the equator, it will not be as 'bad' as that.

Winter in Brissy gets dark bout 5 ish
But later in Summer
Possibly bit later on Coast

QLD wont agree to DST cos they reckon we have enough sunshine hrs in the day already

It also drops dark very suddenly in the North and near the tropics.

Gets dark by 7.30 ish in the summer here, and there is no twilight, its a very quick transition from day to night.

End of July it was dark at 5.30 on the Gold Coast, we was told it gets dark about 7.30 in the summer.

In winter it is a bout 6 and in summer about 8, it just goes dark very quickly.
You dont get the light nights til 10 like in the UK , but the sun is out so early , your in bed for about 9 anyway [well we are]. Denise
