Should be fine. I think 1million 'Australians' were actually born in the U.K. and more have got a parent / grandparent who was born in the U.K., etc..
The only issue you'll have is if someone wants to wind you up, but they'd just pick the next easiest thing if you weren't British. True actually, but that almost would certainly happen if someone with a strong accent moved to another part of the UK. Depends on how you can handle things like that, The ones that dont seem to be the first ones to leave. Get through the first 2 weeks and you'll be fine. |

On the unit where I work we have staff from UK, Zimbabwe, Germany, NZ & India. The Aussies are a minority.
