Wow-Drunk all weekend,hungover all week so far.
It was a long hard struggle - made getting the visas look as easy as a B list celeb getting in the lesser known Minogues undercrackers.
So now we're window shopping-can't spend 'owt,till we transfer some dosh over.Can't believe it can take a week with the high speed t'internet nowadays.Still,it's a nice problem to have.
I've decided to treat it as if we landed off the plane Friday,as the last 3 months have been lived in limbo land with little money,and not knowing if each week would be the one where we'd have to return to Blighty.Hard life aint it.
So now we'll be looking at barbies and cars and houses and all the things that new migrants work so hard to achieve.
My tip is to have a holiday when you get here,and take your time settling down.One of the few things that have gone in our favour with this delay,is that we've had time to see exactly where we want to settle,and where the best areas are to live and buy.
All the best to those still waiting to sell-won't patronise with 'it'll all be o.k in the end' type of messages.I'll never buy or sell in the UK again.
BB-Only managed 1.5 inches Friday night.

Remember I proposed to Mrs BB to be at our going away party ?Well,I've been using the house sale as an excuse not to go through with it up till now.
Any tips on how to swerve out of it -looking at Badgers post,he may have some ideas soon (or if not him,his intended).
