Can anyone recommend a hotel near Brisbane Airport please?

Our flight will get us in at midnight, so we're going to stay in a hotel for one night before going to our (still to be booked ) temporary accommodation.

Is $155 about average then? Are there any hotels right at the airport itself? We'll get a taxi to the hotel, but will need to head back to the terminal to pick up our hire car in the morning.

Can highly recommend this one, we stayed there twice on late arrivals in Brisbane. It's cheap, has good breakfast and the rooms are pretty decent. It's about 10 mins drive from the airport just off the Gateway motorway and they have transfers to the airport (not sure if we paid or if they were free)

seriously - dont bother - go straight to temp accomodation

the airport at midnight is 20 minutes from CBD and 30 minutes to most districts in City. The airport hotels are dives and its way out in an industrial area

Either get a hotel in the CBD (lots on wotif.com.au) or go to your temp-accom and pick up your hire car from the city depot or depot near to your hotel.

Our flight lands around 1am, and then adding time to clear customs and immigration and pick up bags and a hire car...it's going to be late. I'd prefer to just go somewhere to put our heads down for a few hours, then deal with the rest in the morning.

try www.ourbrisbane.com.au for hotel a lot of them will pic you up from airport & have your car sent to hotel the following day you will save on a days car hire
