Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!
We got a phone call at 6.45am today from our immigration lawyer in Sydney.
WE'VE GOT OUR VISA'S!!! She said "I didn't think you would mind being woken up at this hour for some good news"
She was right!
Can't stop smiling now! We have to be in Australia before March 5th 2004 - oh that's a shame!

Don't mind packing and organising....have already done it once when we visited Oz for a year...the whole flat had to be packed and stored at 5 different places, plus we had 3 weddings and 2 leaving parties to go to - all in different parts of the country. This time it should be a breeze. Throw away the crap, and get some men to come in and pack away the stuff we want to keep. Easy Peasy - right? right?

Congratulations Vee How long did you have to wait and why do you have to be there for March next year. I had heard from other sources that you had a year from granting of visas to get yourselves over there. OMG now I am worried.. Still I will cross that bridge when I come to it... if we ever do!!
Good Luck, you still have around 6 months to enjoy the sudden cold spell
