Default Hoon Mobiles

Aussies love their V8 5 litre cars. Here is a thread to put your favorite pics of them up. This is not a great one but I used to own half of one of these (the other owned by another backpacker). 4.9 litre V8 and it used to wake the whole camp site up where I was fruit picking.

No longer the pretender this was the animal.

We've only got a V6 4 litre - can that join in? (along with the furry dice)

Know when to put the dinner on cos I hear him long before I see him!

Anything is welcome. When the UK dwellers wake they might like to see what they are going to share the road with.

My brother in law has an old VW beetle that he stuck on HUGE wheels and takes to shows Im not kidding, these wheels are almost tractor size!

To be honest though, i think these cars are great!! At least they have some soul and thought behind them. And they do sound WONDERFUL !! (ok maybe not at 3 in the morning, but at shows they are great fun).

I am getting sick to the teeth of the escorts and novas over here, all look the same. Great big boom box in the back, oversize exhast and shed loads of fibreglass "body kit" all over the place.

Bro in laws gonna take me out on one of the paddocks in Dec and teach me proper circle work (hes a country boy....)

Have you seen those yobo cars they have in the states? Does oz have them (having the american influence)?

The ones that have the wacky suspension that makes the car dance all over the shop

Completely barmy

I have seen something like that down in freo. Sitting at the traffic lights shaking it's booty! The guy was trying his hardest to look cool, but everyone was just laughing!

I think they have custom car runs as well, where they all get together and go for a drive somewhere, quite a sight I'm sure.

I think the Poms In Perth car should get a mention as well!
