Just wondered when you have settle in Oz where you all go for your holidays, do you stay around your area or travel further afield?

We're in NSW and so far we've just been on weekend camping holidays so we've only travelled 2 hours max - bloody lovely though.
In April we're heading to the Gold Coast for a week when my mum visits - cant wait.
Theres soooo much to see here that I think it'll be a long time before we have to leave the country in order to get a great holiday - we're lovely it.

Camping seems to be the most popular holiday in OZ, drive and camp.
We have been back to UK, but with a family the two lots of airfares cost us $19,000
If we win lotto we will go again
If we holiday this year its our annual 30 hour drive to melbourne and a week with the mother in law

been to Melbourne twice, Sydney, Hunter Valley, Adelaide, Perth, NZ and UK, also weekend trips away nearer home here in Tas-didn't get to Skeggy tho...
