So if you were planning on spending a couple of weeks in Tasmania in February, where would you go, where would you stay and what would you see?

Hi
A good time to visit as the weather is probably at it's best then.
Here's a few of my favourites:
Freycinet National Park - I love it there, you can do the walk to Wineglass Bay and then over to Hazards beach, lovely walk. Friendly Beaches are also worth a look. Plenty of places to stay, we've always stayed at the Freycinet Lodge, cabins are quite simple but great food at the lodge and they also organise boat trips, kayaking etc
Cradle Mountain - stunning, lots of walks for all abilities, wombats, pademelons, fab!
Port Arthur - great day out, packed with history and atmosphere, Tasman Peninsula is a nice place to stay for a couple of days, Tasman Island Cruise recommended, we were lucky enough to have a humpback whale swimming next to the boat.
Bay of Fires - really beautiful up on the North East coast, again lots of water activities and stunning beaches
Hobart and Launceston are both worth a look although I much prefer the bushwalking/nature destinations as I think that is what Tasmania does best!
I'll think of some more and let you know

Hobart - Visit the old gaol, it was one of the best visits we did.
Cradle Mountain - just stunning & would love to go back to do more walking
Port Arthur - allow a whole day, there's a lot to see
The Beaconsfield mining centre was very interesting too.
Trowunna wildlife park was a great place to get up close to the Tasmanian Devils & the Honey Farm, just down the road from there at Chudleigh, do fantastic ice-cream.
The Gordon River cruise & the West Coast Wilderness railway were also two good days out although a little pricey.
We all thought Cadbury's was a bit of a dissapointment & Seahorse World was voted by my family to be the most boring thing we have done ever!
Allow more time than you think you will need to travel from different places... those roads are generally ones you can't hurry along!
Hope you have a fabulous time, I know we certainly did!

Thank you ladies, much appreciated. Lots to choose from by the sound of it.
I'd be glad to hear anyone else's thoughts too - there's just the two of us (adults!!) if that has any bearing on your ideas.

So you been to school
For a year or two
And you know you've seen it all
In daddy's car
Thinkin' you'll go far
Back east your type don't crawl
Play ethnicky jazz
To parade your snazz
On your five grand stereo
Braggin' that you know
How the niggers feel cold
And the slums got so much soul
It's time to taste what you most fear
Right Guard will not help you here
Brace yourself, my dear:
It's a holiday in Tasmania
It's tough, kid, but it's life
It's a holiday in Tasmania
Don't forget to pack a wife
You're a star-belly sneech
You suck like a leach
You want everyone to act like you
Kiss ass while you bitch
So you can get rich
But your boss gets richer off you
Well you'll work harder
With a gun in your back
For a bowl of rice a day
Slave for soldiers
Till you starve
Then your head is skewered on a stake
Now you can go where people are one
Now you can go where they get things done
What you need, my son:.
Is a holiday in Tasmania
Where people dress in black
A holiday in Tasmania
Where you'll kiss ass or crack
Pol Pot, Pol Pot, Pol Pot, Pol Pot, [etc]
And it's a holiday in Tasmania
Where you'll do what you're told
A holiday in Tasmania
Where the slums got so much soul
