Question Holden Commodore

Hi

Does anyone know if used cars are generally cheaper in Adelaide than Perth & if so what sort of percentage?

Also, do you have to re-register the car inanother state just to sell it?

Reason being we're considering driving over to Adelaide and having a look round before returning to blighty. We're unsure how long we'll end up staying and taking into account hire car costs we're not sure whether to sell our car first in WA or wait until we've seen SA.

On the rego, ours doesn't need renewing for another couple of months but we're not sure if someone would buy it in SA when it has WA plates. According to licensing authority, plates aren't a problems (only about $30 to change) it's really just the fact of having to pay another batch of rego.

We've got a 98 Commodore Acclaim Wagon in good condition with just under 90K on the clock - any idea how much we could get from a private sale in SA?

Thanks for any comments.

Hello Linni,

Let us know when you are planning to cross the Nullabor and we will look out for you.

We are looking at going over end of jan/early feb. Are you planning on looking at some of the nice places in WA before you leave?
