Hiring a car with paper driving licence?

Hiring a car with paper driving licence?
I only have an old paper driving licence, not the photo card.
Does anyone know if there would be any problems hiring a car with this in Australia?

We had no trouble at all last February. We used Hertz in Bayswater, Melbourne.

don't forget they deal with so many different countries every day with different driving licenses, so you will have no problem. They are still legal in the UK, so they are legal worldwide.
