hip hip hooray at last!!!!
cant stop grinning! had agent ring today, we have had our meds nd police check requested.We had our acknowledgement on application 16th october2003 136 skilled application and today had request,still cant beleive we have came this far.
Now got to pass the medicals and we are off to sunny perth september2004,also sold house should be signing contracts next week,im just worried about medicals as am over weight and have a high bmi ,but docter does say im healthy enough hope so?? dont want to be me letting the familly down from going,im now gonna have aglass of wine and try to chill???? bye for now allison delboys wife,and good luck to all those october2003 applicants still waiting your turn next

Wow can't believe it came through that quick - given us something to think about - we submitted our application about a month ago, and were expecting to hear nothing before 12 months or so - yipeee! Hope everything goes well - get yourself that glass of wine (or even the bottle)!

Hiya!
We are going September time, off to cairns, far north QLD.
Didn't expect our visas to come so quickly and now we're doing the 'headless chicken' bit, running around thinking OMG!!!! we've got so much to do!!!!!!
We've no job to go to, but have one or two contacts we made on our visit last year and have just mailed them to find out how the job market lies up there.
How about you guys?

We have just sent ours and as the same as you thought we would be waiting at least 12 months maybe processing times are getting quicker.
We shall just have to wait and see.
Anyone else going for skilled independent had theres through quicker than they thought?
