Hinze dam Gold Coast.
Driving back from Lamington National Park (beautiful) today, and i could swear i could see Hinze Dam. Can you drive down there to have a look, is there anything there (apart from water
) or is it out of bounds.

you can get a day licence and fish or bring a canoe or sail boat for further fun
we also had a expats meet there about 3 months ago

The Brisbane GPS schools usually hold their rowing competitions there but didn't this year. (Went to kawana Waters for some reason). It's really beautiful. There's parking, play equipment, barbecues and the views are really beautiful.
