we had the same thing - you will need to go out and get a set top digital box about 70 bucks then it will work perfectly - that or get Foxtel but then you will be tied in for a 1-2 years.

Any electrical store has the digi boxes - you can also get one that records, we didn't know that at the time and just picked the cheapest so our luck was it doesn't record, but worth looking into.

Good luck

We went and bought a set top box (about $100) from Good Guys. Works perfect now.

Cheers

what channels do you get with a set top?

do yoiu get the normal channels or do you get a few fox/austel too like the uk ones where you can get shopping channels and some decentish channels.

thanks

No real extra channels. Just gives a digital image instead of annalogue. I think there's an extra ABC but nothing like the UK Freeview. You can get Foxtel (if it's in your area). That's pretty much like UK Cable.
