Help Returning to blighty
Dear All,
My partner and I, after a wonderful time in Melbourne have decided to, travel for a couple of months and return to good old blighty.
The problem is that our apartment is leased until mid september and so we need to find new tenants to take over the lease around 12 th June.
Would anyone be interested ?
It's a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, open plan living and dining and kitchen - fully furnished (beuatifully). Laundry etc etc
Situated in Melbourne , Middle Park ( 4kms from CBD) on Beaconsfield Parade (right on the beach with panoramic views of both the city and the bay)
Secure off street parking (1 car), communal outdoor heated swimming pool, communal gardens and BBQ area.
$475 Per week.
Please contact me at [email protected] or by posting a reply.
Thanks
Dave

Sorry if this is a bit of a rude or personal question, but can I ask why you have
decided to come home.
I have friends in Melbourne who are coming home next week after only managing
14 months.
Just wondered if your gripes were similar

Re: Help Returning to blighty
Yes. They went out on the visa where you have to take $250,000 and invest in
business etc etc.
They have had problems with local aussies ripping them off because they are British
and assuming they are loaded etc etc - lots of small things. He also got ripped off
to the tune of $30,000 when he invested in an aussie company and the owner took his
money and ran!! He did get it back in the end when he took the bloke to court.
Another major factor was due to the fact that his wife has family back in the UK
including an ill Mother, who kind of emotionally blackmails her.
I think that it just got to them in the end. I suspect if it had on a PR visa then
they may have given it longer
