Help required with AQIS form for shipping
Hi
I'm trying to fiull in the AQIS Unaccompanied Personal Effects Statement ready for my goods to be shipped off. I'm a little stuck.
I've done a validation trip to Aus a couple of years back, but never actually lived in Australia in the everyday sese of the term. The form has a section "for returning residents only".
Can someone help? Am I officially a returning resident as I've already validated? Or, am I not, as I've not actually lived in Australia?
Cheers
Neil

You mention you've never lived in Australia, you've been on holiday [or validated] but you've never actually lived there.
So...validating means you are not a resident

Thanks for that. Sometimes one needs to check that what seems common sense is also common sense in someone else's view too.
