Default Help needed re Re-mortgage

We are trying to re-mortgage our house in the UK but are having a lot of difficulty (we are now in Australia). Our present mortgage company originally said they would re-mortgage for us if I earn over GBP10,000. This was not a problem. They then came back and said that I needed to work for a government agency and this letter was sent to them. They have now come back saying that we do not earn enough in Australia (well over $100,000 was what they would want us to be on) to cover a re-mortgage (an extra GBP30,000) even though I do earn over GBP10,000 and work for a government agency. We have been messed around by the mortgage company and the financial advisors (who were our financial advisors in the UK). The mortgage was supposed to be for expats (we told them we were returning).

Does anyone please please know of any companies that will look at re-mortgaging a house in the UK that is being rented out while you are aborad.

Any help would be very grateful as it is rather urgent now and we do not want to waste anymore time.

Someone, anyone?????????????????????????????????? Please!!

Have you tried the HSBC bank ?

HSBC Offshore

extract: HSBC Bank can provide flexible finance packages for the purchase of UK property, either as a second home, to rent out, or to live in when you return to the UK
