Hi all, Been in Perth for a week now and looking at moving over here to live. I am currently a fitter on the railway back in UK but am also HGV qualified driver and a qualified Diesl fitter (not worked on big diesel units for around 8 years). Wife is a Pharmacist and an Australin citizen, my question is this, are my diesel qualifications recognised in Australia after working outside the feild for a while? Are there any courses that can update the qualification and get experience on heavy plant equipment, also what are the chances of the wife staying in Pharmacy and is it worth doing all the tests before we come over? Any help gladly recieved.
