Hi - there are several websites where you can download - CV templates - think from feedback on BEP - Oz CV - it is desireable to be detailed, not like UK where 2 pages is rule of thumb?

I did one for my OH yesterday on www.seek.com.au

You can save it and print it. Also look through some job descriptions of your particular profession to get ideas on wording etc.

We had one done professionally, but to be honest it wasn't really any better than the one I did myself and it took her 2 weeks

I just used one of the resume packages on word by creating a new document, choosing other documents in the templates and choosing elegant resume.

It's a bit fussy as you always have more jobs than they allow for (paste enough extras in the middle of the list as adding to the end buggers up the cell format) but it looks as professional as you'd expect.

Hubby went to an agency who told him over here you don't include your nationality, age, family status, etc. so elegant resume fits in quite well with this.

Remember to check everything as the first time I did it I forgot to overwrite their original to change my name and address - could have been embarrassing if I'd actually sent it in application.

Good luck.
