Hello Sailor
1 Attachment(s)
Spent the last 3 days out on the boat.
Left the marina at Redcliffe, where it is moored, and went to Tangalooma where we anchored up and messed about for a while. caught a few fish and drank a lot of beer:thumbup: Here is a pic of Mrs G and me being deckhands. That is the breeze in my shirt.....not muscles:o Got so used to the roll of the boat that we are both still rocking G |
Re: Hello Sailor
Now thats the life.
I'll admit that I would really like to spend a few days travelling about like that. All I've got is one of these.... I haven't used it in ages either 1. Because I dont have a boat Licence.... 2. Because I'm too busy damn well working. .... most of the time... http://lh3.ggpht.com/_XQdu18Yfd_g/R_...Q/IMGP1323.JPG |

Very timely G - myself and a mate are looking into building one. He's the designer, I'm the gofer, so I don't care what it looks like - let's see where we get to. |

I had to inspect a large boat that had been damaged and thought exactly that so I googled it. There is no real answer, but most people reckon that if it wider than 10 mtrs then it can be classed as a ship. |
Re: Hello Sailor
It's certainly a big boat....getting on for 50 feet in length but not 10 metres wide.
It was a gin palace on Xmas day....we had 3 fridges on the go to hold the beer, wine and Champagne. Sadly, it is not mine.....it belongs to my son and his G/F.....I could not afford the diesel:o Still.....if they won't let us on it we will stop his pocket money:lol: G |
