Hello All
Well, although not new to this forum, am new to the Australian section.
Been through them all almost
NZ, UK, Middle east and now our (final) destination...OZ! (hopefully)
Not one for going directly, I always seem to take the long routes to anywhere, long shortcuts if you like.
Been wanting to emigrate to Oz since age of 8, some ** years ago
, ended up in NZ in 2002, froze to death in winters and struggled to survive on Kiwi wages. Ended up in Middle east, loved it, but accommodation drove us back plus the house here needing to be sold etc.
So, here we are, hubby and I and 2 rugrats (a third one will follow later) all hopefully heading to OZ in 2007. Brisbane as first preference, but judging by my past history of not going directly, well, who knows where I will end up first?

Well, good luck with your move this time, Rascal - at least you'll have loads of experience for your autobiography :-D

this will be our LAST move ever, but..then again, you never know eh? Aye I could certainly write a book about my experiences of life in other countries.

Enjoyed Doha though, pity our rental was someone else's who decided to return. Shopped around and cheapest available was 18,000QR pm rent!
Or around $2500 PER WEEK NZD!!! Yeh right, really gonna pay that much eh?
But, we have a offer of a Bahrain job (with accommodation, car etc all inc!)
OR Aussie jobs. Mr R due to fly out in early Dec for interviews to Aussie.
I think OZ will win the day but will not rule out a M.E job again. It was ace.
