Hawthorne Qld - Anyone know it????

Just wondered what area Hawthorne came under? Also how near the city, trains etc it is and whether it's a nice place?

Any help gratefully recd!

Very nice area, nice & close to the city (less than 5 kms, directly across the river from New Farm), no train line (closest is probably Morningside), but very good bus services + the city cat to get to to the CBD. Its also very close to the lovely Oxford St in Bulimba (next suburb) with cafes etc.

Hawthorne is a lovely inner city suburb east of Brisbane, on the river. There's no train but you can get to the CBD very easily on CityCat, the ferry service.
