Has anyone taken PRB (Painters Registration Board) exams?
Bit of a nightmare..................
After a 4 year apprenticeship and over 20 years experience in the Uk as a Painter and Decorator (not to mention jumping through the TRA hoops) Mr Jones has now been told he has to take PRB exams. The one he is most concerned about is Business Management as he has been told this is accountancy based. In the UK he had an Accountant who took care of all this sort of thing.
The PRB have been less than helpful on a number of occasions so far, so we are wondering if anyone else can help. Or knows who else might be able to. This is all so Mr. J can get a registration number. Although he doesn't have to have one to work for someone else, he wants to work for himself.
PLus could anyone explain why after working so hard to get, he is facing yet more red tape?
Cheers all

He went and took the exams and passed with flying colours. Personally, I think he did a sterling job as most of the questions were Aussie jargon/process related, and he wasn't exactly told what he should be revising!
So, we are now waiting for the 'rego' number..................
