Commuting by train in Perth
Hi
Does anyone commute by train from Perth's northern suburbs (e.g. Hillarys, Mullaloo, Alexander Heights areas) to Fremantle?
Looking at the timetables from Greenwood (as an example) to Fremantle the journey doesn't seem too bad, but just wondering if anybody actually does it?
Thanks

Re: Commuting by train in Perth
I commute every day from Joondalup, takes about 25 minutes. Trains run every 15 minutes or so, a bit more frequent from Perth during rush hour.
There is also the express train that runs North from Perth, non stop to Warwick, taking a few minutes off your journey home.
Very stress free way of getting to work!!

Re: Commuting by train in Perth
I used to comute between Freo and Perth. The trains were 99% of the time, ON TIME! It was bliss and the train goes along the sea for part of the way. There was also a little community of people on the train, it was great. Don't let it put you off.

Great trains and buses in Perth (and of course you can buy a timed ticket valid for both, or an unlimited return).... only problem is the train network isn`t as vast... but one day
