HAS ANYONE SHIPPED PETS OUT NOT USING ONE OF THE PET SHIPPING COMPANIES?
I am looking to send my two little dogs to Australia a couple of weeks prior to us arriving. The cost is really expensive and just wondered if anyone had done it themselves saving £££s and if so, what were the pitfalls, if any?

I Shipped my cats out but I did use a company called Airpets based near LHR. space at quarantine is so limited and they managed to get me a cancellation and they do all the paperwork etc which is very strict.
