Has anyone recently had a medical??
We are due to have our medicals next week and have just got to the bit where it says what medical tests have to be done. It says "RPR (Rapid Plasma Reagin) or VDRL (Venereal Disease Reference Laboratory) tests for syphilis are required for 15 year olds and over" - I have two boys - 17 and 18 - can anyone please tell me asap exactly what this entails?

Hi - just a small blood test - they take about 5-10mls of blood and report takes about 5 days to get back to the doctor. It will be done at the same time as the HIV blood test
