House contracts should be signed next week. Have booked a flight to Brisbane for 28 October. Am looking for a travel insurance that will cover me for the one way flight. Has anyone tried the same with any success?

They have an excellent policy which is well priced and give you 17 days cover when you arrive. Most policies will end at customs... no good if you lose a case in the car park! Also the policy will cover you car hire deposit, great for those unforeseen accidents.

hey mate, just get insurance for the duration of your journey and you are fine, so if your journey starts on a friday and you get here on a sunday get 4 days insurance from the post office, easy as that. Although if you go thrugh PO its expensive, ours was £25 but if you do a search on this site there was one mentioned that was alot cheaper
