Just logged on and what a nice surprise - thanks for all the birthday wishes and yes, just a few years older than your boy! Try trebling it for starters but I still end up at 21! (In my dreams!)

Just wanted to share my birthday dinner with you:
Buffalo mozzarella served on a wild mushroom
Baked Monkfish served on roasted red peppers in a citrus sauce
Couldn't fit in a pud
But it was all washed down with copious amounts of dry white wine and then three baileys.
Deeelish! Lovely olde englishe pub with blazing log fire!
Hopefully this was my last birthday in the UK and it goes down in the history books as a good one. (Particularly as it was shared in the company of my hubby whose birthday it was too!)

Just heading up for my belated birthday present....
Catch you all when my feet next touch the ground!!

....as it was my lad's birthday too....we ended up in pizza hut. I wasn't sat near a lovely roaring log fire in a lovely pub....no...I was sat in a noisy room next to a draughty window trying to consume with a smile my son's chosen pizza for us all. It was one of those stuffed crust ones?? You know, the sort that they've rubbed the dough round all the staff's smelly feet, got all the bits of cheese from in between their toes and put it in the crust for you to enjoy.
Then to top it all (s'cuse the pun
).....after tasting a chunk or two, he decided that the pizza that HE had chosen wasn't what he thought it would be and that he was actually feeling 'a bit full' from the sweets he'd consumed whilst in his room playing on his new pc game!!!!!! If it wasn't his birthday I swear he would've walked out of that place WEARING his stuffed bloody crust!Ahhhh children.....don't you just love 'em??
