Is there one? Would you recommmend it?

Am I right in thinking there's a gym at the sports ground at Beaumaris (corner of Burns Beach Road and Marmoin Avenue)?

Hi there is a Jets fitness in the new Currambine develpment on Marmion Ave. Opens 24 hrs looks good.

Don't think there is a gym in the Beaumaris sports club, could be wrong, though there does seem to be a lot of group fitness sessions conducted at different times on the sports field.

As stated the Jetts gym is 2 minutes along the road in the new shopping centre at Currambine and you're only 5 mins drive from the Arena which has
an excellent gym and loads of other facilities

If you are after facilities which offer swimming, gym and fitness classes then Joondalup Arena is the place to go. As others have mentioned there is the new Jetts gym at Currambine, just a gym no fitness classes. Surge Health Club at Clarkson is just up the road and there is a Zest in Joondalup. I am a member at the Arena and it offers the most opportunities IMO.

Definitely spoiled for choice. My missus goes to the Jetts gym which is great for convenience, being open 24 hours, but I tend to agree with Northernbird, in that the Arena offers the best variety, something for all of the family

We all use Zest in Joondalup. $16 a week and thats for full use of the gym, all the classes and pool spa etc.
