Re: grey water?
Here at our rental there is a grey water system, this is then pumped onto the gardens at intervals.
We use the 'Earth' range of products where possible
You thinking of putting a system in then??

We are just about to start building and we are thinking about putting one in. We were quoted $1800 to buy the system which would attract a governmet rebate of $500. We are also putting in a solar hot water system.

Re: grey water?
I use a washing powder called BioZet www.thegreenercleaner.com.au. and have found it to be great stuff
We collect our own water so have to be extremely careful how we use it. The grey water from the shower and the washing machine is used to flush the loo.

Re: grey water?
we use a hose diverter from our laundry trough (not from washing machine as this buggers up the machine pump) into a normal dustbin.
When load finishes we decant over garden with a bucket or watering can- but are thinking about a seep hose onto the lawn.
It is a hassle but cost about 40 bucks- two dustbins, a hose, a diverter and a connector...

Re: grey water?
We use trinature products and have a hose diverter straight from the machine to the lawn. having said that, thinking about diverting it into a small wheelie bin so I can turn it out on parts of the garden the hose can't reach. Have looked into some full on grey water systems but we jst can't afford it right now.

Re: grey water?
The quote includes all the equipment supply but not installation which will be another $100 an hour on top. Sorry I can't remember the make either but will have all the details next week after we do our final pre start.

Re: grey water?
$10K for a bore and pump in expensive. I paid $4K for a 27m bore( including a gravel pack) and pump installed. Pump delivers 100l/m. Do you need to drill into rock or limestone?
