Hi Guys
Just a quick one. Should probably be obvious but nobody I've spoken to at work seems 100%!
When I buy a car, I should get a transfer of ownership, like in the UK, right? On top of that should I receive pink and green slips? Or do I need organise those?
Cheers

Also, is green slip connected to car or driver?

You'll get the bottom half of the registration document, this will tell you for how long the rego is valid. (You use this to transfer the registration too)
CTP transfers with the car and will be valid for however long the rego is valid for.
Have a read of this site which explains your responsibilities and requirements when you buy a car

Pink Slip - Similar to MOT, except that the seller has to give it to you and it has to have been done within 30 days of selling the car to you. He cannot give you one from 4 months ago! Don't accept the sale without current pink slip.
Green Slip - Compulsory third part injury insurance. I'm not 100% sure if it transfers or not. Long time since I have done it. But you should consider that this is the minimum legal injury only insurance, you would be very wise to get your own 3rd party or full comp insurance on top.

Anyhow, just saying to make sure on this point as if it's out of this time period then you'll have to re-MOT the vehicle to finalise the paperwork.
