Great car insurance deal
Well I thought so anyway...
We wanted fully comp insurance on 2 cars, a 2000 Daewoo Nubira Sedan & a 1995 Pajero GLS 3L
I phoned a few companies up & here's the quotes I got:
RACQ - Daewoo - $466.55 Pajero - $556.90
They offered a monthly payment option but wanted an extra $4 each month on top for the pleasure.
NRMA - Daewoo - $392.03 Pajero - $369.53
These didn't give me a monthly payment option.
AAMI - Daewoo - $472 Pajero - $597
These didn't offer a monthly payment plan either.
ING
Daewoo - $298.38 or at no extra charge $24.86 monthly
Pajero - $283.15 or at no extra charge $23.60 monthly
No prizes for guessing which policy we took out!!!
So it just goes to show it certainly pays to take 30 mins out, phone and get more than one or two quotes!!!!

Very interesting: we have a lot of cash with ING at present and I didn't even know they did auto insurance!

I had high hopes I would be able to save my boyfriend some money on his car but they worked out $200 more a year than his current mob (Just Car). It was interesting to learn they did car insurance though. I had a look for the car I will be getting in a few months and they worked out more expensive for that as well.
