Grape Nuts
#1
Does anybody know where I can buy grape nuts? I have a need to make Delia's Key Lime Pie and in the base she used grape nuts. Haven't seen them anywhere.
By the way - it's a breakfast cereal, probably from the States, but I used to be able to buy them in the UK.

I thought I'd better mention I meant the cereal, for that very reason

I've been looking for quinoa, not been able to find that anywhere either - the place that had the most alternatives though were BiLo and a health food store near me, so perhaps you could give those a go?

I haven't seen them anywhere either. They're one of the few things I occasionally get a yearning for, so if anyone spots some anywhere (in Oz I mean) let me know!
I fear that Crunchola would be a hopeless substitute, being oat-based. Grape Nuts are wheat-based. There's nothing quite like them!

Thanks for all your tips. You know I actually saw that they were for sale in Melbourne at a USA products shop for something like $AU 22 - that's just ridiculous. So maybe I'm going to try and make them myself.
