Got it! NZ

just in case anyone is interested...
We got our Approval in principle letter on Saturday. Bloody quick really, as I think the Auckland NZIS had only just received our Application which was transferred from the UK.
Well, in the end it has all been worth the risk in coming over on visitors visas.
Came over in September. Got job offer/work permit in October and now have PR in November!
Husband has job offer now too, but he needs to start work at 8am on the north Shore and I need to start work at 8.30 and we just can't get the kids to school etc in time to get to work. He might be able to work something out with his emplyer, but if not he'll have to turn it down. Typical!
Don't forget, it's the same s**t, different country!!!!!! Wouldn't be anywhere else tho!

Thanks for the congrats everyone!
Must say, we've obviously been pretty lucky with the way it's all worked out for us. Some others seem to be having a crap time trying to get here, and we're grateful we managed to slip in before all the uncertainties!
We're now poorer, but more tanned!
Good luck to everyone whos trying at the moment!!!

To go to NZ on your own, family left behind, spend a month getting a job and all the stress of not having you family around......hope to perhaps see you one day in the land of the long white cloud
