After 18 months and 3 attempts we have just found out that we have been given our Visa and we need to Validate it by 5th July 06. OMG!!
We have a 3 year old, a dog, a cat a house to sell and a very close family to upset all too soon.
Any of you out there in a similar situation, any advice, gone from feeling really excited and wanting to go to feeling S*** Scared!

No advice, other than start organising NOW, as we must be the most disorganised ever, despite trying to plan. Keep finding out more things we need to sort. Good tips at top of Aus forum though. Only thing I can say that might make tou feel a teensy weensy bit better is: Your not alone! We're crapping ouselves too!!! :scared:

That great you got in.
Got our visa end of November
We have to be in for start of July also.
We are going at end of May.
Thought getting the visa was hard but this is the hard part.

My best friend of 31yrs has took it like a death in the family.
Everyone else is happy cause they have somewhere to go on Holiday.
Trying to get container Quotes
Quotes for dogs
And flights.
Thats all (i think)

Just think this time next year you will be in Australia.
Keep in touch and let us all know how you are getting on.
Any problems just come onto the forum and someone will give you any advice you need.

Make a list of things to do (plenty if you search on here)
Put list on fridge & mark off when done.(if its visible you shouldnt forget any thing)
I was terrified at this stage too but we're here now and loving every minute!

Brilliant news on getting your visa, I think with the determination you've shown you will be able to get passed anything. It's normal to be scared, even I am and I usually don't panic about anything and just go with the flow.

It'll all be worth it in the end. Anytime you get panicky just come on here and waste a bit of time with us lot in the Barbie and then you'll feel a whole lot bettter cos we're all in the same boat.
