Skills Assessment Story
1) Sent Skills Assessment to ANC on JUly 9 2003
2) August 29th Received positive assessment results and lodged application for nursing licensure.
3) September 16th Nursing licensure obtained.
The BN 136 visa situation
1) Sent in Visa application on Sept.18th. Meanwhile, I sent my FBI fingerprint forms for processing.
2) was received in Adelaide on Sept. 24th (US), which was probably 25th for Aus coz they're 17 hours ahead, and my credit card billed. I received acknowledgement of my application being received via e-mail on Sept. 26th
3) Medical exam request forms and Police clearance request forms
sent out to me on October 1st.
4) October 4th received FBI fingerprinting results. Sent request for local/state police checks.
5) October 5th received the forms from Adelaide and state police check results.
6) October 6th, had lab tests performed
7) October 8th had medical exam performed. The same day I sent in both my local and FBI Police clearance results by express mail.
8) October 11th, Doctor sent forms to Adelaide. Luckily by express mail.
9) October 22nd, 2003, PR visa granted!!
10) Sydney hospital Interview and reference checked.
10) October 26th, received job offer from a Sydney hospital.
I'm amazed and feel very lucky. I want to thank members over hear for their posts that offered me guidance during this process.
