......unless it is not safe to do so e.g. it is wet and you are too close to stop without aquaplaning or if you are being tailgated. Personally if I had someone on my rear bumper, I would accelerate through the amber as I do not want to have no car for a month after it is written off after being hitm or aquaplaning through and being T-boned. A good example was my dad who went through an amber light outside of the Oxley Police Academy once in front of a carload of cops. He did the right thing and pulled over fully expecting to be given a ticket but the officer said that he was correct in going through as it was unsafe to stop. BTW RED means to stop, amber is PREPARE to stop if safe to do so.

Seen alot of cars with Scottish, Irish, English and Welsh window flag stickers on them go through as well.
