A geeky friend of Dagboys sent us this link, so cool, you can zoom in & out, see where roads & freeways are & check out the neighbours by the pool .

Although they could have taken it after we had had some rain, the front yard is looking a bit dry .

The maps are about 3 years old & you cant search, you can only scroll around as its only beta, but its still interesting to find particular suburbs. If anyone wants a specific area here in Brisbane & cant find it (very hard if you dont know an area terribly well), please post & I will find the map for you .

Excellent

We're just in a low res bit - only the very southern tip of Tamb Mt is detailed. Our block (deposit paid) is about 1 km north of the detailed bit.

That's really cool though. I've just found the hotel we stayed in last year and the house we're renting when we get there next month (well, I found the street, the house isn't distinctive). Also been browsing South Bank, etc. I could be here all day now you know

Yep, especially miss out on those excellent rate rises that Redlands Council said you wouldnt get .

Morningside for the first 2 months. I know it's not an exciting spot but it's cheap

Hey Morningside is nice! Pretty close to the city & not too far from the bay. You could have almost scrolled straight over from that map of my house to Morningside cos its fairly close to us.

Geeeeeeez you'd almost be eligible for Brisbane Bayside Brits registration living there!
