Actually, whilst we're on the subject - is there an Australian route map? I wanted to do one from the airport to Ocean Reef

This has directions as well as maps.

Thanks Gedge,

I just found where my mum and dad live in Australia!
They seem closer now after looking at the Google map..... it doesn't seem like a lifetime ago since I saw them last anymore

Thank you for a fantastic link

You can get to Bowral by zooming out from the Sydney map until Bowral is visible. Then centre the map on Bowral and zoom in. It gets down to actual block level on the Google map but the hybrid view doesn't go down that far.

So if you're wanting a street level map of Bowral, try this search:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...Australia&om=1

You need to specify Australia as part of your search else those pesky Americans think you're in the USofA.
eg. Woop Woop, Australia

Hey - how old you reckon the info is on this site Gedge? I ask as I have just taken a satellite view of our home and it looks like it did 6 months ago or more??

You're talking google earth (or the stellite image) option of google maps...
I don't know when the images were taken, the google earth website says that they cannot tell you either as there are so many images stitched togather to give you the full picture.
Can you tell from looking at the cars? Or the fashions? Any bell bottoms out there?

Well I think if you are going to post a link you should at least know all the information about it. You are useless

I can tell because we cut down approx 40 trees from property - but they still appear on the image
