PS regarding the laptop - did you consider hiring one for your last few days in UK?
PPS Tip: copy your favourites/bookmarks, address book and/or CVs to a disk for when you get that lappie!
PPPS Don't bother packing jumpers/sweaters; it's warm here at the mo!!

I haven't been on the forum for ages due to a variety of reasons and so this evening I have been catching up with what's been going on. Saw your posting about going - can't believe how quick time goes (now we're not waiting for our visa!). Best of luck for your trip - so nearly there.... it must be both fantastic and scary all wrapped into one. Have a wonderful new life and enjoy the lovely hot weather. We're hoping to be there in August. Will keep a look out for your posts to hear how you're getting on.
Hope it turns out to be all that you wanted and dreamt of.
