Like some others here (I imagine), I grew somewhat 'obsessed' with our emigration to NZ and was almost desperate to find out almost ANY information about the process, what it's really like out there, what others in the same emigration boat were going through. This forum's been great for providing a helluva lot of feedback - thanks.

I guess I'll still lurk from time to time and will post an update once we are settled in NZ later this year.

Good luck to all who are making the big move and thanks for all the information and amusement. Apologies to a couple of members I may inadvertently have upset with an occasional unsubtle or boozy reply.

Will be sad to see you go Don. I have always looked forward to your posts, you will be very missed esp by the NZ crowd. I maybe understand what you are doing though as I can maybe see a day coming soon when I will no longer post.
Keep in touch and maybe meet up if you decide to settle in Christchurch.

All the best Don. Cheers for lots of useful info & interesting debates. If you, Mrs Don & little Don are ever in or passing through Auckland, you're more than welcome to pop in for a beer/coffee/tea/farleys rusk. :)

Hope your move goes smoothly and NZ works out for you.

Russ.

Don,

best wishes for the future. I have enjoyed reading your very helpful posts, so do hope you let us know how you find NZ.

GOOD LUCK.

Awwh Don, you are going to be so missed!!! All of us NZ hopefuls have gained so much from your extensive research and all the time you took to pass it on. You have been a great help - many thanks!

Having said that, there has to be more to life than sitting looking at a computer screen half the day and I hope you find it all and more when you finally get to New Zealand!! Who knows, we may bump into you sometime if we all end up in Christchurch and of course, if you ever need some Plastic Surgery..........!!

Thanks again Don, and wishing you, Mummy Don and Little Don (or maybe Don's) God's very best for your new life!
