Have a safe and great journey.

Just think how long it has taken to get where you are now.
Must be well chuffed.
Lets us know how you and the dogs are keeping.

have managed to get about 5 minutes of dial-up access thru the lovely laptop

shippers were great - took them hardly any time at all.... had to laugh - they were expecting about 125 cubic ft of stuff but we managed to get it down to about 60!!! wayhey!!!

there's a couple of things we forgot but they should fit into our luggage allowance so just have to deal with the hassle of carrying it

the dogs tickets have arrived but we're still waiting to hear about whether Bailey my 3yr has passed her 2nd set of tests or not. thankfully my auntie has stepped into the brink and has said she'll keep her and sort everything out if the worst comes to the worst. hopefully that'll never happen.

the cats get re-homed with friends and family over the weekend and it just leaves my toothbrush to get packed and leave for the airport on tuesday.

have banned all family and friends from the airport and have been very evil and told them we're leaving 3 hours later than we actually are! have a few friends who wouldn't heed warnings and turn up anyway!

so the next time we speak i'll probably be at the airport in the swanky cathay business class lounge (anyone know exactly where that is??)

i believe it has wireless access.... but have a problem. packed the instruction manual to the laptop with everything that went yesterday so i've got no idea how i actually get access to the whole wireless thingy... so i'm sure one of you lovely guys in the know (ross???) will PM me and tell me!

laters dudes

ffy

PS - Hil... thanks for looking after hatchling - she's called Maria!

Good luck with the move - as long as the wireless card in the laptop is switched on (Check the Bottom right of the screen - for Task Bar icon) should say detected wireless network and connect automatically.-im sure its open access at airports. There'll be other people probably there to show you if it doesn't pick up the network.
Thats great advice as far as telling the relatives that the flight is later than it actually is.
Just remember when you walk out on that Tarmac at Heathrow just keep running and don't look back. You'll be free

well it's tomorrow we go!!!!

i'm not scared or excited or anything... that's probably because i've spent the last 3 days in bed with man-flu (and i'm not even a man!). i could count on one had the times i've been properly I'll in my whole life and including this time i've still got plenty of fingers left. it's just sooo frustrating. i have to say I'm not looking forward to the next couple of days stuck on a plane feeling like this!!! anyone got any advice of what i can take to help? i'm already over medicating and ODing on Vit C - tips pls!!!!!

it's been a v stressful few days - not just with being sick but just trying to tie up all the loose ends. i sold my flat to my brother so i've been trying to repaint bits of the house as well just because he doesn't have a painting bone in his body.

A word of warning.... if there's something on your pre departure list that doesn't really need to be done but you just quite fancy doing it.... DON'T BOTHER! the stress is just not worth it!

i've really missed hanging about on here over the last 5/6 days - it's just not been emigrating without you guys! looking forward to getting to the otherside and letting you know how everything's going. i'll try post en route!
