Good men's clothes shops - Perth
Looking for a decent jacket (blazer or sportsjacket) - happy (well not that happy) to spend up to $400.
Just tried David Jones and Myers in Karrinyup Mall - useless because the range of sizes was so poor even though the styles weren't bad.
Thinking of trying the city tomorrow - logic being that there are more city types there, ergo, better choice.
I absolutely detest shopping and have no idea where to go....so, any suggestions of decent menswear places - in my budget?

Trouble is, if I was in the UK I'd head for John Lewis or M&S. Out here I could pay a fortune and get rubbish because I wouldn't know a good quality jacket from a rubbish quality jacket with a posh name.

Thanks for this. I'll print your post out to guide me tomorrow.
I note, by the way, the dearth of responses from BE Perth males...

If I lived in Perth, I'd be right on it but I don't. For consistency, I'd go to David Jones. Sort of know what you might be in for - some of the labels are sort of verifiable.

Yes my thinking exactly. Unfortunately they only had jackets for elves. The sleeves were that short I got all embarrassed just trying it on.

Let's do a swap. I take a short arm but also need a nice roomy collar. I get around it by buying a size too small and NEVER wear a tie cos I can't do the collar up. I have exy shirts (better fitting) for all tie jobs. lol.
