We are going to the sunshine coast in June/July could any of you recommend any good hotels to stay in. We are also going to the Gold coast and i have been looking at Gemini Court in Burleigh heads, have any of you stayed there and is it ok. Thanks folks

No ideas about hotels but if you contact Cotton Tree Real Estate they'll fix you up with a nice short term rental. If you ask for the Avalon property (across the road from Alex Headland surf club) it'll cost you about $400 a week. All self contained with wash machine etc

I spent Easter in a apartment room at the Mantra (formerly Outriggers) at Moolooaba, best place and best accommodation I've had up the Sunshine Coast.

Hi, We stayed at Rydges Resort when we first arrived in Caloundra.Very nice and handy to town but not right in the centre.Also my OH works at Alexandra Heads Beach Resort . It has lovely pools and opposite the beach and surf club. Hope this helps.

We stayed there when we first got here, don't know how they compare to other holiday rentals in terms of price as we only stayed in this one, got here and had to find something that was available quickly, but we were VERY impressed...Literally 30 seconds walk and you're on the beach, and literally 1 minute to the Maroochydore Surf Club...Also very close to the main strip in Maroochydore (Aerodrome Rd, where the Sunshine Plaza and other shops are located, if you hire a car only 5 mins drive away). Mooloolaba is 10 mins drive away, probably less, not far at all, and you can jump straight onto the Sunshine motorway and be in Caloundra within 20-30 mins, if not less...
