That is a truly amazing salary.

It's regular media reports like this that enforce the 'everyone is rich in Perth' story, therefore high house prices are justified.

It's not that much really, if you read into it they're working up to 80 hours a week to get that salary in a harsh climate. $250k over 80 hours a week is $60 an hour, nothing obscene at all, many people working in Perth city earn over that. Fair play to them
