Question Good affordable suburbs in Perth

Hello Everybody,

Can someone pls tell me which are the Good affordable suburbs in Perth not too far from the CBD to stay?

Also is Perth a good option for an IT Professional?

Yeah it depends, I think $450 to $550 per week is reasonable, but I have seen nice newley builts for as little as $350 slightly furter North.

What area of IT are you in, I am in a Support, 3rd Line Network type area, IT looks to be doing OK in Perth, but as long as I can get a job I dont mind taking a step back to field work if I have to.

Try around morley and balcatta. I am currently renting there for $340 for a 3bed house. They seem the cheapest close to the city, any further in and it gets more expensive.
they are only about 10-15 mins travelling as well into the city.
I used to live in clarkson which is around 45mins out by train, if you dont mind going that far out you can get a brand new house in one of the new estates built around there.

I eventually got fed up being so far out and decided to come closer to the city, it depends what you want

I to am in IT Support, there is loads of positions on seek.com just dont mention you are english on your CV or app letter I find you dont get an interview if you do.

Thanks for the advice Dave, what do you do about your contract or work locations on the CV, do you just miss them out. On my CV I have got work locations with all the contracts I have done.
