Default Golf in Sydney

Going to be living in Balmain area. Any good public courses (preferably full length) in the area at reasonable fees? Any good annual membership type courses?

Thanks in advance

Nobody plays golf in BE land, if you fancy a game in Brissy anytime just give me a shout.

Decent courses tend to be expensive over here, i tried one a few weeks ago in Brisbane, $3500 joining fee and $3000 a year after that, not cheap.

Good luck mate

Bill

I don't play golf and have no idea of the costs, but there are three public courses in the Eastern suburbs - North Bondi, Moore Park and Randwick (near Malabar). There are also eight private clubs.

Inner west has courses at Marrickville and Five Dock but I don't know if they're public or private.

Public Courses I know my husband has played - Gordon and Turramurra

http://www.kmc.nsw.gov.au/go/facilit...s/golf-courses

he thinks they are reasonable fees, he would really like to play some of the private ones but over the top fees and joining lists etc have put paid to that.

If there is anyone out there who would like a game of Golf on a Friday during the day he is always off then. He has actually resorted to playing with himself at times

Cheers
